Diamond Ball is a one-day charity softball tournament hosted by the Beta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi on the UBC Athletic Fields in support of the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) and Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. RMH BC and Yukon provides a home-away-from-home for sick children and their families while undergoing treatment in Vancouver. This amazing organization is Alpha Delta Pi's international philanthropy, however, only 40% of the houses have a local and active Alpha Delta Pi Chapter to help provide support. The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation helps fund leadership education, sexual assault prevention, historic preservation, as well as philanthropic support to all Alpha Delta Pi Chapters throughout Canada and the United States. Last year we volunteered hundreds of hours with the children and families staying at the RMH BC and Yukon. In April 2024, By partnering with local companies and encouraging participation in our event, we were able to donate more than $22,000 from Diamond Ball alone!
